I love them both!
ReplyDeleteLovely post
ReplyDeleteThough I enjoy the work of each of these women, they are exponentially more fascinating together. I would have loved to have seen them costar in a movie. Too bad they've had those personal difficulties.
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures. Proof that they really did get along at one time. Sigh!
ReplyDeleteWhat excellent photos! Especially the first. Two very lovely women, it is such a shame that they have such a gash between them, particularly since they are both at such advanced ages (Olivia, 93 & Joan, 92)and both living. They could be such a comfort to one another. Yet, who am I to say.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Rupert and I don't understand the rivalry. Really want to read Joan's autobiography, "No Bed of Roses".
ReplyDeleteI have that book, though I haven't read it in over 20 years and don't remember all the specifics but even so, I wish them well. Again, lovely top picture.
ReplyDeleteCan I borrow that book from you?
