  1. “I don't go to church. Kneeling bags my nylons.” Lorraine Minosa in ‘Ace in the Hole’ (1951). KC included this recently in a collection of her favorite quotes. It has always been a favorite of mine also. As I said to KC, I have known a few Lorraine Minosas in my time.

  2. Hi Gerald. Thanks for sharing. I missed that post from KC so I'll have to check it out. That line wasn't so memorable for me because I've known churches where you don't have to kneel.

  3. Gina: Didi, when life gives you lemons you make lemonade.

    Didi: This isn't lemonade Gina, it's dogsh*t!

  4. From the movie. Tombstone.

Johnny Ringo: [Ringo steps up to Doc] And you must be Doc Holliday.
    Doc Holliday: That's the rumor.
    Johnny Ringo: You retired too?
Doc Holliday: Not me. I'm in my prime.
Johnny Ringo: Yeah, you look it.
Doc Holliday: And you must be Ringo. Look, darling, Johnny Ringo. The deadliest pistoleer since Wild Bill, they say. What do you think, darling? Should I hate him?
Kate: You don't even know him.
Doc Holliday: Yes, but there's just something about him. Something around the eyes, I don't know, reminds me of... me. No. I'm sure of it, I hate him.
